How to Evaluate your Keyword Research |
|
In the previous article in this series we used Google’s free keyword tool to research the term “Detroit Real Estate”. In this article we will discuss evaluating the results, and selecting the proper keywords to target for your website. In most, if not all real estate keyword research you will come up with the following terms, and many more. 1) City Name Real Estate 2) City Name Real Estate Agency 3) City Name Real Estate Broker 4) City Name Home for Sale 5) City Name Home for Sales 6) City Name Home for Rent 7) City Name Condo for Sale 8) City Name Condo for Rent Now to the tricky part, understanding what you are looking at, and selecting the proper keywords to invest your time and money in. Usually, but not always, the most generic keyword, which in this instance would be “City Name Real Estate”, will return the highest volume of searches. But, if you are a real estate agent, is that the term that is going to make you the most money? Probably not, people who use that term more than likely are just in the research mode themselves. What you want to target are “Buying Keywords”. Please be sure to read the final article in this series where we teach you how to look for the most profitable keywords for any online market, which are “Buying Keywords”. |
